To mark its 40th anniversary, Kraftwerk’s pioneering Radio-Activity album has been revisited and re-imagined by a Anglo-French trio: Matthew Bourne along with composer Franck Vigroux and visual artist Antoine Schmitt.
Drawing on their diverse backgrounds in jazz and improvisation, electronic composition and visual installation, Bourne, Vigroux and Schmitt’s Radioland project turns the original album inside out, using analogue synths and electronics intensified by some striking live video work.
