Paper Dress hosts drop-in Fashion Illustration classes every Monday from 7pm-8:30pm that are suitable for all levels. Begginers, this is a great opportunity to get personalised demonstrations and guidance by fashion illustrator Clara Gomez (whose clients include Nike, Belgian-born American fashion designer Diane von Furstenberg and Robbie Williams are some of the most important clients).
There will a live modeling and you’ll be surrounded by fantastic vintage clothes to inspire you.
Tickets are £10 (includes all materials and equipment).
Over a year ago walking down Shoreditch High St ex-Eastcaster Tom du Croz, met homeless artist John Dolan and his company dog George. After three years living on the streets illustrating the changing environment of Shoreditch, today John has published a book, sold hundreds of his drawings – and he’s now exhibiting at the street art gallery Howard Griffin Gallery until the 17th August 2014.

80s Youth: Best of Times, The Worst of times is an exhibition re-imagining movie posters from the 80’s. It celebrates best and worst or the era and happens at Hackney Picturehouse.
Imagine E.T., Stand by me and other classics like Ghostbusters will be recreated by some of London’s best illustrators in an exhibition that’s on from the 5th August – 6th September.
