Every Tuesday evening
Make 2015 a GoodGym year and get along to our GoodGym Hackney starter session. This session is designed to show you what it’s all about.
What will we be doing?
Planting trees and make tree history!
You will be briefed on the project and then you will split up into small teams, shown where to dig a hole and then taught how to stake and guard the tree.
Each tree will take approximately 30-60 mins to complete the plant.
Why do this?
The trees will help to improve air quality, reduce noise from traffic, look beautiful and feed our local bees.
New to running? Concerned about the distance we will be covering? Fear not! Everyone will be meeting at the start location and heading out for a light jog after the task.
You can leave your bags etc at the start location ( 413 Queensbridge Road, E8 3AS) and there are toilets on site that you can change in.
And it’s FREE!
