Shoreditch Improv Festival
Attention all comedy fans and lovers of good times! City Impro, is back with the second annual Shoreditch Improv Festival and this time they’ve brought 30 of their closest Comedy Group friends. Across three days, thirty of London’s best comedy improv and sketch groups will be amazing audiences (and themselves) with their spontaneous, quick witted and absurdly funny scenes, sketches, stories and songs. Plus, there’ll be craft beer and quality food available to purchase.
Studio chaos with City Impro
We meet members of City Impro – City workers that get a kick out of comedy imrov. Expect live studio chaos (with sound effects) and they tell us about the Shoreditch Improv Festival.
This month Pearl Wise, Jonny Virgo and Katie Haylor are joined in the studio by members of City Impro ahead of The Shoreditch Imrov Festival, further theatrics with members of the cast of Brixton Rock, The Big House Theatre’s latest production and Georgia Whitakar Hughes explains how The Migrants Connections Festival in will connect local residents with migrants. Jonny Virgo looks back at the horrors of the New Cross Fire in the 80’s and Pearl Wise goes to Legs to meet outspoken chef Magnus Reid.

They will be gathering 30 of their closest Comedy Group friends in London in the Water Poet to promote Improvised Comedy in London and the UK by making as many people laugh as much as possible in as short a space of time as possible.
From the 19th-21st February 2016, 30 of London’s best improvisation comedy groups including Project2, Musicbox, C3?, MonkeyToast and GiggleLoop will be entertaining audiences on a total of twelve one-hour shows spread across the weekend at £5 per show.

City Impro Live in the Studio
Svavar & Anna from City Impro join us in the studio for some live improvisation and to tell us about there upcoming Shoreditch Improv Festival on the 19th, 20th, 21st February.
