Lovely Jojo’s ‘Mapper’s Delight’ Pop-up Shop
Lovely Jojo designs graphics and prints, including a range of hand drawn maps of parts of London. She’s opening a pop-up shop for one week in Clerkenwell.
If you are feeling nostalgic today then why not go to The Museum of Childhood? Their ‘Are You Sitting Comfortably?’ exhibition is sure to bring up some old memories as it looks the effects of environment and design on teaching and learning. The exhibition spans from Victorian classrooms right through to a modern e-learning environment. It includes examples of school furniture from the Museums collection and film screenings. The exhibition runs until the 1st June 2014 and is FREE!
This week Pear Wise meets Ben Rigby, the co-founder of Haberdashery, a collaborative team of designers, engineers and image makers specialised in narrative driven design often with a ‘light’ focus. In five years the company has grown from three to eighteen employees creating both private and public pieces for clients worldwide.

The V&A has launched a series of events as part of its Friday Late series, delving into London’s emerging and established creative community. First stop, Dalston. The museum will host many of the creative individuals and collective from the area with artwork, performance, architecture, music and film.
We are also proud to say that our own Pearl Wise will be there with her series of Audio Routes: Bootstrap Stories.
