Bear Mother House
Pearl Wise discovered how Hackney based organisation Xenia, which connects migrant women and English speaking women, has been working with artists Fourthland on their latest exhibition Bear Mother House.
It’s been 45 years since what has probably become the most iconic festival there ever was: Woodstock. In this interview Nia Charpentier talks to two men who were there – Michael Lang who created the festival and Baron Wolman who took photos. Together they’ve brought a series of photographs from that summer of ’69 to a gallery right here in East London. This exhibition is free at Forge & Co, Shoreditch High Street until 8th July.
